Just had to....

I just had to do a quick blog today. After a very good weekend we heard today that our bid for a Heritage Lottery Fund grant towards the Cavell Van resotration project has been successful. We still have some more to raise but this means that we have nearlly reached our target. The wagon is now about to leave us for the contractor who will undertake the engineering work.
AND
Somebody rang up this weekend to ask if we would be effected by the forthcoming Rail strike. I am hoping we will be in that if any of our volunteers who work on the Network choose to strike that they will spend their day here instead!
